Specifically “the report ” 11 Women united for Children ” supports the initiative of the Eliza Association to create a national program for the education and empowerment of kindergartners to prevent child abuse.
The exhibition” 11 Women united for Children ” focuses on female artists in order to create a group exhibition that will frame Eliza’s goals and convey the necessary sense of optimism to achieve the Prevention of this painful phenomenon.
The resounding artistic power of the participating artists wants to focus on the need for action by the competent bodies in order to give priority to the Prevention of child abuse, in a phenomenon that concerns not only today but above all ensures the future of each country, the future of its children.
Participants use their voice and work to raise public awareness of this important social issue that is passed down from generation to generation, without being effectively addressed.
Art and its actors can be a powerful tool for the transformation of public opinion and attitude/action, in order to strengthen the need for knowledge, but also to cultivate a fertile ground for the early diagnosis, intervention and treatment of child abuse.
Starting in 2020, Zoumboulakis Gallery has established to dedicate part of its annual exhibition program to a social project, turning its audience into active supporters of social issues.
