A Programme Agreement was signed today between the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the ” Society of Information ” MAE. The Programmatic Agreement was signed by the Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports, responsible for contemporary culture issues, Mr. Nikolas Yatromanolakis and the CEO of the Society of Information MAE Society, Mr. Stavros Asthenidis.
The subject of the cooperation is the implementation of the following projects included in the Recovery Fund:
- “1. The object of the project is the design and development of an integrated electronic platform for the promotion, promotion and interconnection of Greek crafts and Greek craftsmen.
- “Platform for the management of archaeological sites” with a budget of €400.000. The object of the project is the construction of an electronic platform for the management of archaeological sites throughout the country and cultural activities carried out in them.
- “Training Platform for Workers in the Cultural and Creative Sector” with a budget of €1.000.000. The objective of the project is the design and development of an online training platform for skill building in the field of culture and cultural management, oriented for professionals in the sector.
The projects will be implemented under Axis – 4.6 “Modernisation and improvement of resilience of main sectors of the country’s economy” of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
“With the signing of the Programme Agreement with the MCA MSE, the implementation of important tools for the shielding, strengthening, development and promotion of the cultural, creative and craft sector of our country as well as the empowerment, skills development and maximization of the potential of professionals in the sector, an integral part of our strategy, begins,” said the Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports, Nicholas Yatromanolakis.
“The timely implementation of the projects included in the Programme Agreement with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism is a commitment for all of us in the Information Society. With our knowledge and experience in managing complex projects, we will work in close cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Heritage to achieve the goals set, thus enhancing the capabilities of professionals in the sector and the digital management of the country’s cultural heritage,” said the CEO of KTP MAE, Stavros Asthenidis.
