The exhibition at the foyer of the War Museum will be open to the public from Saturday 22 January to Monday 24 January
VERGOS Auctions welcomes the new year on a positive note, supporting the charity auction “80 artists lend a hand to the children in Open Door”. The auction will take place on Monday 24 January 2022 (7.00 a.m.) at the foyer of the War Museum (Vas. Sofias and 2 Rizari Str.) and the proceeds will be used to support Cerebral Palsy Greece / Open Door, for its 50-year anniversary by the side of children who suffer from cerebral palsy in Greece.
80 artists and collectors responded generously to the call of Cerebral Palsy Greece and offered without any prospect of profit the artworks to be auctioned, thus “lending a hand” to the children who suffer from cerebral palsy and to their families. VERGOS Auctions, in continuation of last year’s very successful charity auction in October, in cooperation with the SKOURAS Estate, provides the know-how and organizational effort for the auction in the War Museum, strengthening the long-lasting support to Cerebral Palsy Greece / Open Door.
The exhibition at the foyer of the War Museum will be open to the public from Saturday 22 January to Monday 24 January, offering the chance to examine the works up close.
Dafni Oikonomou, President of Cerebral Palsy Greece / Open Door, said: “Cerebral Palsy Greece / Open Door is grateful to VERGOS Auctions and to Mssrs. Petros and Andreas Vergos personally, for they support us yet another time, organizing very skillfully the auction “80 artists lend a hand to the children in Open Door”. Thanks to the experience of Andreas Vergos, we are certain that the auction will be very successful, attracting the art lovers and the supporters of our work.”
