The Hellenic Foundation for Culture in Italy participates in the exhibition “Psacaropulo100” organized by “Studio Psacaropulo” for the centennial of the birth of Greek painter Aliki Psacharopoulou (1921-2018).

The exhibition presents the highlights in the life and artistic creation of Psacharopoulou, from the 1948 Venice Biennale and the Four Years in Rome until 2000, from the magical realism of Casorati to post-cubism, expressionism and abstraction, in a double chronological and conceptual-ideological course that was curated by Michele Casaccia, Enea Chersicola and Nathan Marin.

In fact, this initiative is part of a wider plan for the protection and promotion of the heritage left by the painter, which is also the central aim of the cultural association “Studio Psacaropulo”, created to manage the first house of the painter in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, which is open to the public in the network of “Small Italian Museums”. This exhibition is co-organized with Tivarnella Art Consulting and supported by the Municipality of Trieste, the Casali Foundation, Banca di Cividale, the Greek Orthodox Community of Trieste and the Hellenic Foundation for Culture.
