After a successful tour abroad, the Greek Youth Symphony Orchestra returns to Megaron Athens on Saturday 13 December at 20.30, under maestro and artistic director Dionysis Grammenos, for a night with works by great Russian composers. Together with soloist Anna Fedorova, one of the brightest stars in the global stage, they will present the First piano concerto in C minor by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
They will also present two very popular Russian works: the Introduction from the opera Ruslan and Ludmila by Mikhail Glinka and the famous symphonic suite Scheherazade by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. Giorgos Banos will be playing the solo violin.
