Vasilis Soulis was born in Athens in 1981. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts under Zacharias Arvanitis and Rena Papaspyrou. He was a candidate for scholarship in 2005-2006 and he graduated summa cum laude from the Seventh Workshop of painting under Giannis Psychopaidis in 2007. He lives and works in Athens. He held his first solo exhibition in Athens, in “Ekfrasi – Gianna Grammatopoulou” gallery in 2009 and has also participated in many significant group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. He has created sets for theatrical performances. His works are featured in private collections in Greece and abroad as well as in museums in Athens.
